MISSION STATEMENT

The International Society for Vietnamese Economists (ISVE) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization established in 2014 by a global group of Vietnam-born economists. It has the following missions:

* Promoting academic exchange and collaboration by providing a platform for Vietnamese economists around the world to share research, exchange ideas, and develop collaborative projects.

* Supporting high-quality research and academic standards by encouraging rigorous scholarship and ethical academic practices, while offering guidance-particularly to early-career researchers and PhD candidates-on publication strategies and research dissemination.

* Organizing conferences and scientific events, including the Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (VEAM), as well as thematic workshops and seminars that foster scholarly discussion and professional development.

* Mentoring and supporting the next generation of economists through initiatives that help young researchers develop their academic careers, research skills, and international professional networks.

* Strengthening partnerships with academic and professional institutions by building and maintaining close relationships with universities, research institutes, and professional organizations in Vietnam and internationally that share similar interests.
