17th Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting
The 17th Vietnam Economists Annual Meeting (VEAM 2026) is co-hosted by the University of Economics, Hue University, Foreign Trade University, Development and Policies Research Center, French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), and the International Society of Vietnam Economists (ISVE).

Important Dates:
* All papers must be submitted in English by May 30, 2026 (5 pm Hanoi time).
* Decision on acceptance will be notified by June 15, 2026.
* Registration will open on June 16, 2026, and close on June 30, 2026
The accepted papers will be uploaded to VEAM’s website (www.veam.org). All presentations are in English. Submission and registration are free for presenters of accepted papers.
ISVE Special Sessions: The International Society of Vietnam Economists will organize three special sessions at VEAM 2026:
- JIEM Session (Chair: Professor Le Van Cuong, Paris School of Economics, France)
- Behavioral Economics and Environment (Chair: Khanh-Nam Pham, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam)
- Development Economics (Chair: Quang Thanh Le, University of Wollongong, Australia)
- Theoretical Economics (Chair: Ngoc-Sang Pham, EM Normandie, France)

We are also pleased to announce a Special Issue of the Revue d’Économie du Développement dedicated to selected papers presented at VEAM 2026. The Revue d’Économie du Développement is an international peer-reviewed journal supported by the French National Centre for Scientific Research, Foundation for Studies and Research on International Development, and the French Development Agency. The journal has been indexed in Scopus since 1999 and is ranked in the SCImagoJR classification system.
